// Where we work

Where we cover, and what that honestly means.

On-site across the Sydney metro, remote across Australia. Rather than publishing a page for every suburb in Sydney and pretending each one is a local office, here is the straight version: what is covered on-site, what is covered remotely, and what to expect on timing.

// On-site

Sydney metro, hands on deck.

Anything physical: hardware, cabling, WiFi coverage, cameras, server work, or a fault that simply has to be seen. Travel within this area is included in the quote.

  • Western Sydney and the Nepean. Penrith, Emu Plains, St Marys, Kingswood, Cranebrook, Glenmore Park, Werrington, Jamisontown.
  • Greater Western Sydney. Parramatta, Blacktown, Seven Hills, Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills, Rooty Hill, Mount Druitt.
  • Inner and central Sydney. The CBD, inner west and the surrounding business districts.
  • Northern, southern and eastern Sydney. Covered on-site by arrangement, with timing agreed when the job is booked.

// By area

Which page covers your area.

One page per region rather than one per suburb. Each line names the page that carries the detail for that part of the map.

// Greater Western Sydney

Parramatta and Greater Western Sydney.

Parramatta, Blacktown, Seven Hills, Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills, Rooty Hill and Mount Druitt are inside the on-site area, and travel inside that area is included in the quote. There is no separate Parramatta price list. The plans and the ad-hoc rate are the same figures published on every service page, and the fixed quote after a free consult is the number you pay.

  • What happens remotely. Helpdesk, monitoring, patching, cloud and Microsoft 365 work, backup setup and restore testing, and software installs all run in a secure remote session wherever your office is. That is most of the work on a managed plan.
  • What gets a visit. Hardware, cabling, WiFi coverage, cameras, server work and anything that has to be seen. On-site visits are typically within a day or two, booked at a time that suits you, and a stopped business jumps the queue.
  • What it costs. Ad-hoc at $140 per hour with no contract, or managed IT plans from $66 and $132 per user per month, ex GST. How those figures sit against the Sydney market is in what managed IT costs.
  • What a local page looks like. IT support Penrith is the worked example: real local conditions, a real suburb list, and no guaranteed arrival time. IT support Parramatta follows the same rule: the on-site zone, the published prices, the honest timing, and the Western Sydney conditions that are already on this site, rather than a suburb-swapped copy.

// Nepean

Penrith, St Marys and the Nepean.

Penrith, Emu Plains, St Marys, Kingswood, Cranebrook, Glenmore Park, Jamisontown, Werrington and Claremont Meadows sit inside the on-site area. The Nepean is not the CBD, and the IT problems out here are not CBD problems: businesses are more likely to be in a shed, a workshop, a warehouse or a standalone building than on a serviced office floor. Heat in an unventilated cabinet, a patchwork of NBN technologies from street to street, and storm-season power all change how the network, the WiFi and the equipment cabinet should be built. Data and video recovery is handled in-house rather than shipped to a lab. The full local page is IT support Penrith.

// Inner Sydney

Sydney CBD, inner west and northern Sydney.

The CBD, the inner west and the surrounding business districts are inside the on-site area. North Sydney and the rest of northern Sydney are covered on-site by arrangement, with timing agreed when the job is booked. That is the honest version: we would rather say "by arrangement" than promise a guaranteed arrival north of the harbour we could not keep for everyone at once. Remote is the default even for customers a short drive away, because it is faster for you and cheaper than a callout, so for most faults the arrangement never comes up. One-off help is on IT support Sydney; the monthly model is on managed IT services Sydney.

// Remote

Australia-wide, and it is not second best.

Most faults never need anyone in the room. Email problems, software faults, sync issues, server and cloud administration, security work, monitoring, backups and the majority of everyday breakage all get resolved in a secure remote session while you watch. Remote support is faster for you and cheaper than a callout, which is why it is the default even for customers a short drive away rather than a compromise for customers who are far.

The practical limit is honest and short: hardware, cabling, WiFi coverage and anything physically broken needs hands. Everything else is location-independent.

// Remote, step by step

Remote across Australia: how a session runs.

  • You call or email. 02 9707 0999 or a message, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm. You hear back within one business hour, from the person who will do the work.
  • A few quick questions. They sort a five-minute fix from a remote session from a visit, and you get an honest read before anything is booked or billed.
  • A secure remote session, while you watch. Email problems, software faults, sync issues, sign-in loops, server and cloud administration, security work, monitoring and backups all get resolved this way. You see what is being done on your screen, and remote fixes usually start the same day.
  • Plain-English notes afterwards. What broke, what was done, and how to stop it recurring.
  • The honest limit. Hardware, cabling, WiFi coverage and anything physically broken needs hands. Inside the Sydney on-site area that is a visit. Further afield we travel by arrangement, or tell you a local pair of hands makes more sense and help you brief them.

// Timing

What to expect, without the marketing.

  • Reply within one business hour to a call or email during business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.
  • Remote fixes usually start the same day once we have triaged what is actually wrong.
  • On-site visits are typically within a day or two, booked at a time that suits you.
  • A stopped business jumps the queue. Server down, whole office offline, or a suspected security incident gets picked up ahead of routine work.
  • Emergency support outside business hours is available to customers on a managed plan.

You will notice there is no guaranteed arrival-time promise here. That is deliberate. A small provider who guarantees a two-hour on-site response to everyone is guaranteeing something they cannot deliver if two customers break at once, and the honest version is more useful to you when you are deciding who to trust.

// Questions

Coverage questions.

Do you charge a callout fee for travel?

Travel is included within the on-site area. Further out, any travel component is stated in the quote before you agree to it rather than appearing on the invoice afterwards. You will never get a surprise line item for kilometres.

What if we are outside the on-site area?

Remote support covers the whole of Australia and handles the large majority of faults, so being outside Sydney is rarely the obstacle people expect. For genuinely physical work further afield we will either travel by arrangement or tell you honestly that a local pair of hands makes more sense, and help you brief them.

Do you support businesses with several sites?

Yes, and it is one of the places a single accountable provider earns its keep, because multi-site problems are usually network and identity problems rather than local ones. Remote coverage means the second and third sites are not penalised for being further away.

How fast is on-site, honestly?

You hear back within one business hour. Remote fixes usually start the same day. On-site visits are typically booked within a day or two, and anything where a business is fully stopped jumps the queue. We deliberately do not advertise a guaranteed arrival time we could not meet for every customer at once.

Do you cover Parramatta?

Yes. Parramatta is inside the on-site area, along with Blacktown, Seven Hills, Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills, Rooty Hill and Mount Druitt, and travel inside that area is included in the quote. Helpdesk, monitoring, patching, cloud and backup work is delivered remotely wherever you are. A visit is booked when the job needs hands, typically within a day or two.

Do you cover northern Sydney?

By arrangement. Northern Sydney is covered on-site by arrangement with timing agreed when the job is booked. Remote support is identical wherever you are, and most faults never need a visit, so being north of the harbour rarely changes what you get.

How does remote support work?

Call or email. You hear back within one business hour. A few quick questions sort a five-minute fix from a remote session from a visit. If it is a remote job, it runs in a secure remote session while you watch, and you get plain-English notes on what broke and how to stop it recurring. Hardware, cabling, WiFi coverage and anything physically broken still needs hands, so those get a visit.

Not sure if you are in range? Just ask.

Tell me where you are and what needs doing. If a visit is not practical I will say so, and tell you what remote can still fix.
