// IT Support, Parramatta & Greater Western Sydney

IT support in Parramatta, remote first, on-site when it needs hands.

Managed IT, cloud, backup, phones and WiFi for Parramatta businesses. Parramatta is inside our on-site area with travel included. Most faults are fixed remotely the same day; a visit is booked when the job is physical. Ad-hoc help is $140 an hour with no contract, plans run from $66 to $132 per user per month, and you hear back within one business hour.

This is not a suburb page with the name swapped in, and there is no Parramatta office. The base is in the Penrith LGA in Western Sydney. Parramatta is inside the on-site zone, the prices are the figures published on every service page, and the timing below is honest rather than a guaranteed arrival time.

  • On-site across Parramatta, Blacktown, Seven Hills, Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills, Rooty Hill and Mount Druitt, travel included
  • Remote support Australia-wide, and it is the default even a short drive away
  • Reply within one business hour, on-site typically within a day or two
  • Ad-hoc at $140/hour with no contract, or plans from $66 per user/month
  • No lock-in: your accounts, licences, domains and data stay in your name

// Scope

What we do for Parramatta businesses.

  • Managed IT. One provider owns helpdesk, monitoring, patching, backups, security and vendors under one flat monthly fee with no lock-in. Plans and inclusions are on managed IT services Sydney.
  • Cloud and Microsoft 365. Hybrid cloud, Microsoft 365 set up properly, migrations, and hosting on our own Australian infrastructure. Most cloud work is remote; migrations and network changes get a visit where it helps. See cloud solutions.
  • Backup and disaster recovery. Automated local plus off-site backups, restore-tested on a schedule, with a documented recovery plan. The local copy is hardware on your premises, which gets a visit. See backup and disaster recovery.
  • Internet and phones. Business NBN, fibre and fixed wireless through our carrier partners, optional failover, and hosted PBX extensions from $33 per month. Router and handset installs are done in person. See business NBN and phone and VoIP and phones.
  • WiFi and networking. Enterprise WiFi, structured cabling, firewalls, VLANs and VPNs, installed and managed. WiFi that does not reach the back of the building is a common job in this belt, and the fix is design, not another extender. See business WiFi and networking and WiFi site surveys.
  • Email and software installs. Microsoft 365 setup and migration with the domain and tenancy in your name, and software installs run in a secure remote session while you watch. See business email setup.

// Pricing

What managed IT costs in Parramatta.

The same as everywhere else we work. Remote support is priced the same wherever you are, because the fix does not care about the postcode. Parramatta is inside the on-site area, so travel is included too.

  • Essentials, from $66 per user per month. Remote helpdesk, monitoring and patching.
  • Complete, from $132 per user per month. Unlimited helpdesk, on-site visits and vendor management.
  • Ad-hoc, $140 per hour. No contract. You pay for the time the job took.
  • Onboarding, from $550 one-off. Audit and documentation, and the documentation is yours.
  • Worked example. Ten staff is from $660 a month on Essentials or from $1,320 on Complete. Licences and hardware are billed at cost.

Figures are ex GST and indicative; the fixed quote after a free consult is the number you pay. How they sit against the Sydney market, and what any quote should include, is in what managed IT services in Sydney cost.

// Timing

How on-site works, without the marketing.

  • Reply within one business hour to a call or email, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.
  • Remote fixes usually start the same day once we have triaged what is actually wrong.
  • On-site visits are typically within a day or two, booked at a time that suits you.
  • A stopped business jumps the queue. Server down, whole office offline, or a suspected security incident goes ahead of routine work. After-hours emergency support is available on a managed plan.

There is no guaranteed arrival time here, and that is deliberate: a small provider who promises one to everyone cannot keep it if two customers break at once. The full coverage map is on service areas.

// Local reality

Three things that break IT across Western Sydney.

Offices, warehouses and workshops in this belt tend to bring the physical jobs: comms cabinets that run hot, WiFi that does not reach the back of the building, and racks nobody has labelled. Three conditions across Western Sydney change how the gear should be built.

  • Heat and the comms cabinet. A comms cabinet or a small server in an unventilated cupboard spends summer afternoons above what the hardware is rated for. Heat does not usually kill equipment on the spot. It shortens drive life and causes the intermittent crashes that get misdiagnosed as software faults for months.
  • Which NBN technology is at your address. The NBN is not one network. Full fibre, fibre to the curb, cable and fibre to the node all reach different buildings, and the copper tail on a node connection degrades with distance and wet weather. Two businesses a few streets apart can have very different ceilings, so the honest answer to "what can we get" is a check on your exact address. If an hour offline costs you trade, a second link that fails over is the fix, once it has been tested by pulling the plug. The detail is on the business NBN and phone page.
  • Storm season and power. Western Sydney storm season does real damage to equipment plugged straight into the wall, and a brief outage at the wrong moment corrupts data on machines that were mid-write. Surge protection and a UPS on anything that matters is cheap; the recovery afterwards is not. If calls must survive a blackout, the battery backup has to be on both the NBN equipment and the router.

// Questions

Parramatta IT support, your questions answered.

Do you come out to Parramatta, or only Penrith?

Parramatta is inside the on-site area, along with Blacktown, Seven Hills, Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills, Rooty Hill and Mount Druitt, and travel inside that area is included in the quote. The base is in the Penrith LGA in Western Sydney. We start remotely wherever the fault allows, and book a visit when the job needs hands on hardware or cabling.

What does managed IT cost per user in Parramatta?

The same as everywhere else we work; there is no separate Parramatta price list. Essentials is from $66 per user per month, Complete from $132, ad-hoc $140 per hour with no contract, and onboarding from $550 one-off. Figures are ex GST and indicative, with a fixed quote after a free consult.

Can you look after our cloud and backups as well?

Yes, and most of that work is remote. Managed Microsoft 365 is from $22 per user per month, email migration from $880 for up to 10 mailboxes, and a scoped cloud migration from $2,750. Backup is $33 per workstation per month, from $110 per server, and $5.50 per user for Microsoft 365. Restores are tested on a schedule.

What gets done remotely, and what gets a visit?

Helpdesk, monitoring, patching, cloud and Microsoft 365 work, backup setup and restore testing, security work and software installs all run in a secure remote session while you watch. Hardware, cabling, WiFi coverage, cameras, server work and anything that has to be seen get a visit.

How quickly can someone be on-site in Parramatta?

You hear back within one business hour. Remote fixes usually start the same day. On-site visits are typically within a day or two, and a stopped business jumps the queue. We do not advertise a guaranteed arrival time, because a small provider who promises one to everyone cannot keep it when two customers break at once.

Can you take over from our current IT provider?

Yes, and it is routine work. We run a handover audit, collect credentials and documentation, and overlap with the outgoing provider where they will cooperate. Where they will not, we rebuild the documentation ourselves. Domains, the Microsoft 365 tenancy, licences and DNS move into accounts you own. No lock-in is a design rule here.
