// Choosing

How to choose: one-off, plan, or project.

Every service above is bought one of three ways. Pick the way that matches how often you need us, not the one with the biggest inclusions list.

  • One-off, break/fix: $140 per hour. No contract, no minimum spend, quoted before work starts. The honest answer for a business that rings a couple of times a year, or one person with a laptop and a domain. See IT support Sydney.
  • Essentials plan: from $66 per user / month. Remote helpdesk, monitoring and patching, endpoint protection, backup monitoring and Microsoft 365 administration. For a team that mostly needs someone competent watching. See managed IT services Sydney.
  • Complete plan: from $132 per user / month. Everything in Essentials plus unlimited helpdesk, on-site visits and vendor management. The tier most five to fifty seat businesses land on. See MSP Sydney.
  • Quoted project. A migration, a cabling run, a camera install, an integration or a custom build is scoped and quoted fixed-price, separately from any plan. Hardware and licences are quoted at cost plus a stated margin. Onboarding, audit and documentation is from $550 one-off.

Two or three people with laptops and everything in Microsoft 365 usually do better on ad-hoc support. Around five staff, or the day you take on a server, the monthly model starts paying for itself. How per-user pricing works across the Sydney market, and what should be inside the number, is in the managed IT cost guide.

// Questions

Services and pricing, your questions answered.

Do you publish your prices?

Yes. Every service page except procurement carries an indicative price table, ex GST, and the price index on this page collects them in one place. Ad-hoc support is $140 per hour with no contract, managed plans start at $66 and $132 per user per month, and projects are scoped to a fixed quote after a free consult. The fixed quote is the number you pay.

Can we mix services?

Yes. There is no all-or-nothing bundle. Take internet and phones without a managed plan, add cameras to a setup someone else built, or run the Essentials plan for the helpdesk and have the cabling quoted as a separate project. Hardware, licences and projects sit outside the plans and are quoted separately, at cost plus a stated margin.

Do you work outside Sydney?

Yes. Remote support covers the whole of Australia and handles the large majority of faults. On-site work covers the Sydney metro, and travel inside the on-site area is included in the quote. For physical work further afield we travel by arrangement, or tell you honestly that a local pair of hands makes more sense and help you brief them. The detail is on the service areas page.

Is there a minimum contract?

No. Ad-hoc support needs no contract at all. Plans run month to month. No lock-in is a design rule here: you own your accounts, licences, domains and data, and everything is documented so you can leave without a hostage situation.

Who does the work?

Angus, directly. You are not routed to a call centre or a rotating pool of technicians, and the person who answers the phone is the person who knows your network. There is no 24/7 overnight desk on the Essentials plan. Emergency support outside business hours is available to customers on a managed plan.

Not sure which frequency to pick?

Tell us the problem, slow systems, dropped calls, dead spots, double data entry, and we'll tell you the fix. The consultation is free either way.
