// UniFi installer, Sydney
UniFi setup and installation, done properly.
Supply, cable, mount and configure UniFi across your site, handed over documented and secure. And if you run something else, we will happily work on that too.
UniFi is superb gear that is easy to install badly. A stack of access points on default settings, one flat network, no VLANs and firmware nobody updates is a common sight, and it is why people think their Wi-Fi is bad when really it is just unconfigured.
We set UniFi up the way it is meant to run: proper SSIDs and VLANs, a separate guest network, sensible security, tidy adoption and a controller you actually own. Then we document it, so the next person is not starting from zero.
We are Wi-Fi specialists. We recommend and deploy UniFi because the price-to-performance is hard to beat for business, but we are vendor agnostic: we design, install and fix any vendor's gear, including Ruckus, Aruba, TP-Link Omada, Cisco and Meraki. You are not locked into one badge.

// Questions
UniFi questions, answered straight.
Do you install and set up UniFi?
Yes, end to end. Supply, mount, cable, adopt and configure: gateway, switches and access points, with SSIDs, VLANs, a guest network and sensible security. We hand it over documented, not as a pile of blinking lights.
What does a UniFi install cost?
A $550 site base covers the controller or gateway setup, SSIDs, VLANs and a guest portal. Each access point is $440, which includes the cable run to 30 metres, the mount, termination, adoption and testing. All ex GST. Hardware is quoted separately at cost plus a stated margin.
Can you take over a UniFi setup someone else built?
Yes. We will adopt the existing gear into a controller you own, tidy the configuration, patch the firmware and document it. If something was done badly we will tell you plainly and quote the fix.
Do I have to use UniFi?
No. We recommend UniFi for the price and performance, but we are vendor agnostic and will design, install or fix Ruckus, Aruba, TP-Link Omada, Cisco or Meraki just as happily.
Do you self-host the controller or use the cloud?
Either. We can run a self-hosted controller on your own hardware or a cloud key, or use the hosted option, and we will explain the trade-off for your situation rather than defaulting to whatever is easiest for us.
